Krumholz is a civil litigator who draws on his experience as a former
Assistant United States Attorney to provide assistance to his clients
in a wide range of areas. He has extensive jury trial and appellate
experience.
Mr. Krumholz successfully handled several high-profile
cases for the United States during his tenure with the U.S. Attorney’s
Office, including the defense of the United States Army’s anthrax
vaccination program, and the defense of an agency decision which
invalidated dozens of oil shale claims owned by two major oil companies.
As an appellate lawyer, Mr. Krumholz has argued and won several criminal and civil appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He has also handled appeals in the Colorado state courts, as well as in the United States Courts of Appeal for the Eighth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits.
Mr. Krumholz is a member of the bar of the United States
Supreme Court, and a member of the Tenth Circuit's Criminal Justice Act
appellate attorney panel. He is also the founder of the Rocky
Mountain Appellate Blog,
which he co-authors with Richard Westfall and Aaron Solomon.
In 1996, Mr. Krumholz graduated cum laude from
the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a Dean’s
Scholar and served as an Associate and Contributing Editor for the Michigan Law
Review. From 1996-97, Mr. Krumholz served a one-year clerkship
for Judge Paul J. Kelly of the United States Court of Appeals for
the Tenth Circuit. He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism
from Northwestern University in 1993.
Mr. Krumholz is a past chairman and current member
of the Denver chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
A native New Mexican, Mr. Krumholz was raised in
the Four Corners region of the Southwest. He and his wife Lyssa have
three children. |
