Expertise:
Steve DeHoff joined the firm in August 2008 in the employment and commercial litigation practice groups. Prior to joining Hale Friesen, Steve practiced for six years in the litigation departments of Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York City. He has successfully represented clients in real estate, employment, contract, bankruptcy, and securities matters before city, state, and federal courts, as well as before NYSE and NASD arbitral panels.
Steve received his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2002, where he concentrated his studies in civil litigation. He received his bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1998 from the University of California, Los Angeles. While attending law school, Steve received the Witkin and CALI awards for excellence in alternative dispute resolution and was a semifinalist and best brief award winner at the Evan A. Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition. |
