Expertise:
Ms. Henderson’s practice focuses
on employment litigation and employment law counseling. She
has represented clients in employment lawsuits in state and federal
courts, in administrative hearings, and in labor arbitrations. She
has represented employers in all areas of employment and labor law,
including wrongful termination, employee discipline, labor relations,
and wage-hour matters. Ms. Henderson has counseled employers
on a variety of employment matters, including discrimination, non-competition
agreements, wage payment, overtime issues, collective bargaining
issues, labor disputes, and employee severance. She has lectured
at various seminars on a variety of employment-related topics.
Shannon Henderson joined Hale Friesen, LLP in June 2002. Prior
to joining Hale Friesen, She practiced employment and labor law for
five years at Jory, Peterson, Watkins, & Smith in Fresno, California. Ms. Henderson grew up in Riverton, Wyoming, and received her J.D.
from the University of California, Davis in 1997. She received
her B.S., with honors, from the University of Wyoming in 1994. Prior
to relocating to Denver, she served for three years on the Board
of Directors for the Fresno County Young Lawyers Association, and
served as Treasurer of that organization for two years. She
was also active in the Fresno County Bar Association and the Fresno
County Women Lawyers. |
