Peter Krumholz is a civil litigator who provides assistance to his clients in a wide range of substantive areas. He specializes in high-stakes appellate litigation and trial court litigation. Mr. Krumholz has won several criminal and civil appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, as well as appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits. As a former Assistant United States Attorney, Mr. Krumholz has extensive trial experience, having handled numerous jury trials in federal and state court. Mr. Krumholz also frequently writes amicus briefs to the Colorado Supreme Court on behalf of a wide range of organizations. Some of Mr. Krumholz's recent reported cases include: Frontier Steel Buildings Corp. v. Wiser Construction, 2008 WL 4293665 (D. Colo. 2008); Brodeur v. American Home Assur. Co., 169 P.3d 61 (Colo. 2007) (amicus); Grand Lake Estates Homeowner's Ass'n v. Veneman, 340 F. Supp. 2d 1162 (D. Colo. 2004); Montoya v. Chao, 296 F.3d 1085 (10th Cir. 2002); Exxon Mobil Corp. v. Norton, 206 F. Supp. 2d 1085 (D. Colo. 2002). Mr. Krumholz is a current member of the CJA Panel for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the founder of the Rocky Mountain Appellate Blog. He is a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Krumholz is a past chairman and current member of the Denver chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. In 1996, Mr. Krumholz graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School where he was a Dean’s Scholar and served as an Associate and Contributing Editor for the Michigan Law Review. From 1996 to 1997, Mr. Krumholz served as a clerk for Judge Paul J. Kelly of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University in 1993. |
