Steve DeHoff has successfully represented clients in a variety of civil proceedings before both state and federal courts, including cases involving employment discrimination, shareholder disputes and joint venture dissolutions. Mr. DeHoff has appeared and defended numerous clients in employee compensation matters before NYSE and NASD arbitral panels. Additionally, Mr. DeHoff has represented clients in real estate, contract, bankruptcy, and securities matters. Mr. DeHoff is also a frequent contributor to the Rocky Mountain Appellate Blog. Mr. DeHoff received his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2002, where he concentrated his studies in civil litigation. In 1998 he received his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. While attending law school, Mr. DeHoff received the Witkin and CALI awards for excellence in alternative dispute resolution and was a semifinalist and best brief award winner at the Evan A. Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition. Mr. DeHoff joined Hale Friesen, LLP in 2008. Prior to joining Hale Friesen, Mr. DeHoff practiced for six years in the litigation departments of Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York City. |
